Malvern is a small spa town which grew up as a Victorian holiday resort. Further expansion, and the town's technology ethos, came in years around and after World War II when the government set up it's radar research establishment here. This establishment has diversified and is now principally known as the company Qinetiq. It was previously known as DERA and RSRE and a few other incarnations.
The town and surrounding area benefits from a micro climate that gives some of the warmest summer temperatures in the UK. As a result the surrounding countryside supports the growing of many varieties of fruit. These include apples and grapes for the local producers of wines, ciders and perry's. If you don't like our local alcoholic drinks you can always try the water. It is bottled by one world's largest producers of soft drinks in our the local village of Colwell. The water is also free from various points around the hills but take advice before drinking as some outlets currently have a high bacterial count.
We offer a superb location for families and outdoor loving people. For socialite we can even offer a city nightlife in Worcester (15 min) or Hereford (30 min) which are accessible by bus, train and car.
Outside the town there are many villages offering excellent housing. Malvern itself has a wide mixture of Victorian and modern housing. There is a range of private and public schools in Malvern and the surrounding area. If you prefer city living there is a wide range of housing in Worcester which is approximately 15 minutes drive (30 minutes peak times) from our offices.
For the sporting we have a swimming pool and fitness centre 5 minutes drive from Enterpoint. You can even walk it in 15 minutes on paths and low traffic roads. Within 20 minutes drive we have further clubs and opportunities for Bowling (10 pin), Canoeing, Cycling, Football, Horse Riding, Rowing, Rugby, Sailing, Snooker, Swimming, Tennis, Walking, Windsurfing and many others.
We are approximately 10-15 minutes from the M5 and M50 motorways. These motorways offer excellent connections to Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and places beyond. Going north and west we are 30 minutes from the border with Wales for those that like large hills and small mountains.
