Enterpoint Ltd. announces the award of a grant from the Prograta Fund for business innovation. The funding will assist Enterpoint in the development of new products targeted at new market sectors. Prograta is an EEC funded body providing grants to companies located in rural Objective 2 areas within Herefordshire and Malvern Hills District areas. It is anticipated the the first product developed as a result of this funding will be available in first quarter of 2006.

Enterpoint Ltd announces Raggedstone1. Demonstrating very low cost design techniques in delivering a large I/O count on a 4 layer board Raggedstone1 provides a low cost Spartan
TM-3 FPGA development platform.

 

Raggedstone1 supports MicroBlazeTM, PicoBlazeTM and other FPGA microprocessor development with the inclusion of EEPROM and Flash Memory on board all at the selling cost of £50.

Enterpoint Ltd announces MINI-CAN. Offering PCI and CAN Bus support this new Spartan-3 development board is available now.

MINI-CAN offers a low cost FPGA development solution. Fitted with a XC3S400 Spartan-3 FPGA the board offers 74 user I/O in addition to PCI and CAN functions.

Enterpoint Ltd announces it's University Access Program (UAP). The program has been established to further the use FPGA technology by students and staff within academic institutions. Enterpoint believes that by assisting the development of FPGA knowledge in this sector there will be longer term benefits to our company.

UAP will offer a range of discounts on Enterpoint's hardware and software products. These discounts will be available to schools, colleges, universities and students.

UAP will also offer colleges and universities the opportunity of using our visiting lecturer to deliver an up to date live commercially based lecture.

UAP will also offer a limited Broaddown2 loan program. These loan boards will be made available to schools, colleges and universities subject to loan stock availability and other conditions.

Enterpoint Ltd announces a free lunchtime seminar. The seminar introduces FPGA embedded microprocessors and the benefits to designers, manufactures and maintainers of using this technology within their products. The first date for this seminar is the 9th July 2004 and will be held at Malvern Hills Science Park, UK. Details of the seminar and how to register are here. Further dates and locations for the seminar will be announced subject to demand.

Enterpoint announces Broaddown2 - the ultimate Spartan3TM FPGA Development Board. Broaddown2 is part of Enterpoint's Moel Bryn family of motherboards and modules aimed at system level development and prototyping.  The initial release of this board will be based on a Spartan3TM XC3S400 part but future releases will include XC3S1000 and XC3S1500 based variants.



This board offers a highly flexible prototyping and developing platform with PCI, LVDS, MicroBlazeTM support. Further memory types and other interface types can be supported by addition of plug in modules.  The board offers high power supplies for voltages between 0.9V and 5V as well as negative power supplies for analogue or driver circuits. There are also user definable power supplies allow variation to voltages between 1.2V and 4.3V.
