Our business specialises in applying, supplying and supporting FPGA, CPLD and ASIC technologies.  Our aim, to help our customers to make best use of the technology in their application.  Our business model is tailored individually to each customer and depends on their needs and requirements. 

We have produced and assisted in designs ranging from 32 macrocell CPLDs to multiple multi-millon gate FPGA/ASIC designs running from 0.1 Hz to 400 MHz. Our assistance can range from something simple like a day's training course on basics to a full outsourcing of a complex turnkey electronics and software design.

We are members of Xilinx's Alliance program and therefore will usually favour Xilinx parts for new designs. Our high level of in-depth knowledge of these products allow us to deliver superior results over the average designer or design house. An illustration of this is one our in-house designs that operates at 380 MHz in a Virtex-II parts (faster on Pro parts).  You may say that you can do that on a pipelined register set. However in our example the register to register paths have 3 levels of lut logic between registers and is applied over something like 300 register to register paths. If you are a designer that can exceed 300 MHz on a similar design please consider asking for an interview.

Ok so we like Xilinx and maybe you do too.  However our customers come first and we will always consider a customers preference to another vendor.  Similarly if we are aware of a clearly superior product offering from another vendor we will indicate the option to our customer. With this ethos we have designed with CPLD/FPGA technology from every vendor in our marketplace over the 16 years that Enterpoint has been trading.
